A collection of forty-five kephalaia written in imitation of the book of the Proverbs (see also CPG 2463, 2464, and 2464a). GΓ©hin suggests that this work was the first of a trilogy, followed by CPG 2464 (Ecclesiastes) then 2463 (Song of Songs). In Arabic, CPG 2477 is not extant, but only 2464a, which GΓ©hin regards as a customized substitute. Eighteen of these chapters (5, 10-16, 18-23, 25, 29, 34-35, preserved in Barb. gr. 515, 60v-61r, formerly classified under the number "nocpg06") are found as extracts, sometimes under the title "Word of Instruction" or as part of the supplemental KG kephalaia.

I have opted for the Armenian as the basic reference system.
